About Me…
Hi, I’m Melissa!
I’m a speech-language pathologist who loves helping little ones find their voice—whether that’s through spoken words, sign language, or joyful babbles. Growing up as a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA), communication has always been close to my heart. Now, I get to support families as they navigate the early years with their deaf or hard of hearing child.
My Approach
I’m dedicated to helping infants and young children with hearing or communication differences grow confident, expressive communicators. At Wyoming Listening & Language Therapy, we don’t believe in “one size fits all.” Instead, we bring flexible, evidence-informed, family-centered care—with respect for multiple communication pathways (listening & spoken language, sign, or hybrid approaches).
I see my role as a guide:
I provide families with clear, research-informed options.
We make joint decisions tailored to your child’s strengths, hearing access, and family preferences.
I continuously monitor progress and shift strategies as needed.
My goal is maximum language access and growth, rather than rigid adherence to any single method.
